Miss the days of playing Link’s Awakening on your Game Boy? Kudzu, a new game out now from Pie for Breakfast Studios, pays homage to that classic Nintendo adventure in more ways than one.

Published by Mega Cat Studios and 8bit-Legit, Kudzu is billed as a non-linear adventure game “about a man trying to save his mentor from a world-eating plant.” The game aims to capture that classic 8-bit Zelda gameplay, complete with puzzles, side quests, and boss battles.

Available digitally for Nintendo Switch and physically for Game Boy (you read that correctly), Kudzu and its team are pulling out all the stops to rekindle those ’90s memories. The Switch eShop version retails for $4.99, whereas the physical version will run you either $39.99 for the cartridge or $49.99 for a complete-in-box product (cartridge, manual, and box).
